Hours of Operation
Hairy books appointments Tuesday through Saturday
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This means that the first groom of the day begins at 9:00 in the morning and the last groom begins at 4:00(ish) in the afternoon. Full clips on large dogs will not be scheduled after
2:30 pm (please see Services & Pricing re Golden/Lab clips). The same applies to multi-pet households. The last groom of the day will be on one medium- to small-sized pet only. On average, Hairy books no more than 6 pets per day.
Because animal grooming is rife with unpredictable events, appointments are not booked to the minute, meaning that groomer's arrival time will be within an approximately 1/2 hour period. Therefore, an afternoon book might be, for example, "I'll be there between 2 and 2:30." If groomer is going to be more than 15 minutes late beyond that 1/2 hour frame, client will receive a call. Hairy makes every effort not to keep a client waiting for an unreasonable amount of time.
Please note that Saturday bookings are in high demand and may require a bit of a wait. Best to book early, and soon, for Saturdays.

P.S.: Before the Groomer Arrives:
About one half hour before the scheduled groom time, please allow your pet some time outdoors to pee and/or whatever. In this way the groom is MUCH more comfortable for the pet and obviously more sanitary for the groomer.
Also, when the van arrives in your driveway, please give the groomer two or three minutes to set up before bringing your pet out to the van. Generally, groomer will come to the house to get the pet. Thank you!
