Traditionally, mobile groomers charge more than salons because of the personal convenience to clients, and the fact that their clients' pets get exclusive, one-on-one care.
Dirty Hairy's prices are about as low as Hairy can go and still keep gas in the van, pay the rent, and bake a chicken once a month. And then there's the electric company! Jeez Louise!
In any event, all clients can rest assured they are being charged a more than fair price and are still receiving Dirty Hairy's absolute best. We will never cut corners on quality of service or products where an animal is concerned. Never.
Dirty Hairy offers discounts for adopted pets, as well as working/service dogs, such as therapy dogs, seeing-eye/guide dogs and K-9 police dogs.
These discounts are as follows:
Adopted shelter pets........................................................$10 off quote
(first groom only - must present shelter adoption paperwork)
Therapy, guide and K-9 unit dogs....................................$10 off quote
(lifetime - applies to each grooming session)
Newly found, rescued animals.........................................$10 off quote
(Hairy will have to assume your honesty on this one - first groom only)
Seniors on fixed incomes.................................................$10 off quote
(lifetime - applies to each grooming session)
Rescued and/or traumatized cats may not be groomable, but Hairy's willing to give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, you should consult your vet about a
sedated grooming.

If you are looking for another pet, please visit your local shelter first. Besides all the mixes (who are wonderful pets) you'll also often find purebreeds if that's what you're really looking for. Either way, there's a face you'll be unable to resist waiting for you at a shelter right now. Also please donate, if you can. Your dollars make a real difference.
